Today I suddenly realized something. In my everyday job as AD, graphic designer and illustrator (Odette Lager Design), I always have a lot of balls running at the same time. I like it that way. I rest my brain by switching jobs.
And now when I paint, I notice that I do the same, I start several paintings without having finished before starting the next one. At first I was frustrated that I did that, I'm afraid to finish them... but then I realized that I do that at my everyday job too and because I do that with painting too, I can paint for longer periods. I start with a painting and then my brain becomes a little blind to the subject and when I then switch over to another painting, the brain defragments and starts over where I am now in the painting that I switch to. It's good that I can do that now so that I can be ready for the exhibition in May 😂
Plus I have so many ideas popping up in my head so I just have to try some things NOW 🤣. Yes, you are who you are, simply go with the flow...
